Hello

Tanya Millett earned her Bachelor of Science in Parks, Recreation and Tourism from University of Utah and her Master of Social Work from Arizona State University. In the last eight years, Tanya has gained experience working with individuals who struggle with substance use issues, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, various mental health issues and veterans who struggle with PTSD.

My Story

As a therapist, Tanya’s passion lies in helping individuals heal from past trauma, overcome mental health struggles, and improve their overall well-being. Tanya aims to create a therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding. With a specialization in trauma-informed care, Tanya utilizes a combination of psychodynamic and mindfulness-based approaches to help individuals heal from past wounds, discover their inner strength, and unlock their full potential. Tanya is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).

On her off days, Tanya enjoys spending time outdoors fishing and hiking with her partner and two goldendoodles. Tanya enjoys traveling and her favorite destination is anywhere with a beach where she and her partner can collect sand dollars to add to their ever-growing collection. Tanya and her partner also enjoy volunteering at a local farm rescue that takes in abused and orphaned animals.
