Hello
Hi, I’m Stephanie Perry, CSW, and my passion lies in the belief that everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported while working toward their goals for growth. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to work with diverse populations from a multitude of backgrounds, each with their own unique values and belief systems. Whether I’m working with a child learning how to express emotions, a couple rebuilding trust, or an individual coping with loss or difficult life transitions, I focus on creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can happen.
My Story
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with family, friends, and my dog, Frankey. I love going on adventures but also find it therapeutic to have some lazy days being a couch potato, playing video games, hanging out at the local tea shop, and/or cuddling with my sweet puppy. I started my studies in music education and love utilizing this background in my therapy at times. I have worked in foster care, residential treatment for children, children and family therapy, and care management fields, a professional history which I feel gives me the ability to connect with others therapeutically, regardless of age, gender, or religious background. I utilize my own experiences with mental illness to help others work through depression, anxiety, grief, low self-esteem, and communication difficulties — though I do not shy away from other potential needs my clients may have. I use evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, IPT, Play Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based techniques grounded in empathy, authenticity, and sensitivity. I understand that healing isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I work closely with clients to find what works best for them — at their pace, and in their own voice. I would be honored to walk beside you as you uncover your strength, heal old wounds, and reconnect with your sense of self — one step at a time.
