Hello
I am currently pursuing my Master’s in Social Work at Utah Valley University, and earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University. Through my education and experiences, I have developed a strong interest in supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges, growth, and change. My background has helped me build a foundation in understanding how personal experiences, relationships, and environments shape who we are. I value working with individuals from diverse backgrounds and creating spaces where people feel respected, heard, and understood.
My Story
My approach to therapy is strengths-based and trauma-informed. I focus on helping clients recognize and build on the strengths they already have while creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and respectful of each person’s experiences. I believe therapy works best as a collaborative relationship, where we work together to explore challenges, consider different perspectives, and identify meaningful ways forward. My goal is to create a nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and empowered to move toward the goals and changes that matter most to you.
I am supervised by Jenivee Akalis, LCSW (7957629-3501).
