Hello
I am passionate about walking alongside teens and young adults as they navigate anxiety, depression, identity, and life's many transitions. As a graduate of Utah Valley University's Master of Social Work program and someone who holds a unique identity myself, I bring both professional training and personal understanding to my work. My approach is person-centered and strength-based, always grounded in the belief that your experiences, all of them, are part of what makes you who you are. Together, we'll work toward the goals that matter most to you.
My Story
As a Black woman and transracial adoptee, I understand what it means to hold a complex identity and work toward understanding who you truly are. This personal experience, combined with my professional training, has given me a deep understanding of what it feels like to search for belonging, independence, and self-worth. I specialize in working with teens and young adults facing anxiety, depression, identity challenges, and life transitions. I utilize a person-centered, strength-based approach, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed care to support each client in discovering their own resilience. I believe in creating a warm, inclusive space where you are seen as the expert of your own life and where your unique story is always honored.
